15th Annual Jersey Shorecast
Atlantic City, N.J. β Whatβs the business forecast for the 2023 summer season at the shore?
A panel of experts will share their predictions at the 15th annual Jersey Shorecast at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 10 in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room at the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Atlantic City campus, 3711 Atlantic Ave. The event will also be livestreamed by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (LIGHT) at the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ University School of Business, the sponsor of the event.
The panel will be moderated by LIGHT Faculty Director Jane Bokunewicz. The panelists are:
- Michael Brennan, chef at Cardinal, a contemporary American restaurant that opened recently in Atlantic Cityβs Orange Loop District.
- Oliver Cooke, associate professor of Economics at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ and editor of the South Jersey Economic Review
- Ben P. Rose, director of marketing and public relations for the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement District and the Wildwood Convention Center
- James Marota, director of sales β Atlantic City region, Caesars Entertainment and a 1993 graduate of ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½.
There will be a Q&A session after the panel and questions may also be submitted in advance to LIGHT@stockton.edu with βShorecast Questionβ in the subject line.
