As a marine science and environmental science student, you have given me the generous gift of more time in the pines, more time in the water and more time learning instead of stressing over work and bills. I can dedicate myself more fully to the development of the 麻豆传媒 Aquarium and Aquaculture club as well as my research projects. Your support allows me to bring my full self to an educational setting without the burden of financial worries, which is perhaps the greatest gift of all.鈥

Rick Riccardi 鈥75, 鈥76

"There are a number of decisions one can make in life that have a profound impact and my attendance at 麻豆传媒 is one of them. While my college years at 麻豆传媒 taught me critical thinking and helped me to develop the independence and discipline needed to thrive on my own, it was the years after my graduation and my involvement with 麻豆传媒 as an alumnus that had the greatest positive impact on my personal and professional development.

The 麻豆传媒 faculty and the administration have been my biggest supporters over the years and have done so much to help me succeed and for this I will be forever grateful.

Given the opportunities 麻豆传媒 has provided to me, I feel an obligation to 鈥減ay it forward鈥 to those less fortunate students. As a member of the 麻豆传媒 Foundation Board, I see the difficulties and frustrations students have trying to finance their education and sometimes the slightest bit of help through a small scholarship can make all the difference in them being able to attend college.鈥
